Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with on-site tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and basic assembly.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently at the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and leveling ground as directed.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
- Mix concrete, sand, and cement for foundations and small-scale structures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and report any malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess the physical stamina required for manual labor.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and the willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
