Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards
- Manage material inventory and coordinate with project supervisors
- Train apprentices on proper installation techniques
- Document work orders and maintain client communications
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician license (journeyman or master)
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit design, and troubleshooting
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
