Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in residential and commercial properties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (or equivalent Apprentice status with 3+ years experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
