Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local building codes
- Manage inventory and order materials for project completion
- Train apprentices on safe electrical practices and procedures
- Document work performed and maintain client communication logs
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (MD/PA)
- Minimum 3 years of field experience in commercial/residential electrical work
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
