Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures per NEC and DC regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, circuit testers, and diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and local building codes
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on timeline adherence
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (DC or reciprocal state)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel across DC metro area
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
