What You Will Do:
Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in various settings. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to local and national electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on project progress.
- Keep work areas clean and organized after every job.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, including heights, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
