Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Code Compliance: Adhere strictly to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough safety inspections of job sites and equipment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time logs for billing and reporting purposes.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to understand requirements and provide status updates.
- Tool Management: Ensure all tools and vehicles are maintained, clean, and in proper working condition.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State of CA or VA).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional electrical experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Safety Certification: Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Driver's License: Valid, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
