Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to undergo a paid apprenticeship or on-the-job training program.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
