Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools and materials, ensuring a clean and organized site.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members regarding progress and potential issues.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification is a plus.
- Must be willing to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license (training provided).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn and a problem-solving mindset.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
