Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential hazards and ensure system efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to explain technical details and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (Florida State Board of Electrical Contractors) is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols (NEC).
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
