Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality control requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Los Angeles building codes.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (climbing ladders, working in tight spaces).
