Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions and system failures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical systems.
- Collaborate effectively with construction teams and project managers to meet deadlines.
- Educate customers on energy-efficient solutions and electrical safety practices.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional electrical experience in the Houston area.
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong working knowledge of residential and commercial wiring systems.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Current certification in CPR or First Aid is a significant plus.
