Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment according to local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan wiring layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults or failures in equipment and wiring.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification) in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
