Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in commercial and residential settings.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Travel to job sites in Chicago, IL, and Nashville, TN as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
