Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan circuit layouts and installation strategies.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Louisiana is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
