Responsibilities
- Install, Maintain, and Repair: Perform a wide variety of electrical wiring, lighting, and equipment installation in residential and commercial settings.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system failures efficiently.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explaining technical issues in plain language.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is required; Journeyman license is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level training.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety.
- Communication: Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
