Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system safety and reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Maryland.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
