Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on commercial and residential sites.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layout and installation.
- Ensure all wiring, lighting, and fixtures meet local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project status.
- Utilize power tools and testing equipment safely and accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical plans and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for on-site work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
