Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams to plan installations and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential safety hazards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults under time constraints.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
