Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, devices, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of wiring and equipment to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Mentor and guide apprentice electricians on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Estimate material and labor costs for electrical projects and provide accurate project timelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable work experience in commercial or industrial electrical installation.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout the Omaha metro area.
- Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
