Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and coordinate with project managers.
- Travel to various job sites throughout the DC and Virginia area.
- Document all work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and potential overtime.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
