Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to codes and safety standards.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Prepare sketches or blueprints showing electrical load, circuit requirements, and other information.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical systems, including panel upgrades and lighting installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
