Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Install wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tool organization and job site cleanup.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain required journeyman or apprentice licenses within a set timeframe.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
