Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layouts.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure adherence to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project completion within deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to learn is more important than prior experience.
- Basic math skills and ability to read technical instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
