Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring to ensure code compliance and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and technical requirements.
- Utilize hand and power tools correctly and maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
