Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and repair them efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers on new development projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in Virginia.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
