Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure long-term reliability.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Tools: Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment proficiently.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
