Responsibilities
- Installation: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide detailed explanations of work performed.
- Equipment: Maintain and test electrical equipment and tools to ensure they are in proper working order.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Tools: Ability to provide own basic hand tools and power tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
