Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks under supervision.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Help with basic troubleshooting of circuits and lighting systems.
- Document work completed and report any material shortages or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions (hot/cold).
- Strong desire to learn and a willingness to get hands-on with tools.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic diagrams.
- No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
