Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Install and maintain electrical components such as circuit breakers, outlets, lighting, and switchgear.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and project managers regarding job progress and requirements.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment accurately.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting heavy materials.
