Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to minimize downtime and customer inconvenience.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical details effectively to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent state certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Current Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to safety standards and high-quality workmanship.
