Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
