Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work meets local, state, and national building codes and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical concepts and answering client inquiries.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman or Master Electrician License in California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuitry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
