Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience with verifiable references
- Valid District of Columbia Electrician Journeyman License required
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
