Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including job sites and service vehicles.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (FL/IL).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites in the Tampa/IL area.
