Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and panels.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (Virginia State Board) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring techniques, and circuitry.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical labor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
