Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems according to local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical circuits.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and power outages quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license (Texas required).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for field work.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
