Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and diagnose complex electrical issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical information to clients and addressing their concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper tool management.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
