Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate work.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they are installed according to safety codes.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and drills.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist senior electricians with complex troubleshooting and project management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and obtain required state certifications.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
