Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installations and renovations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing electrical systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Assist senior electricians with complex installations, panel upgrades, and rewiring projects.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Document work completed accurately in daily logs and job reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Willingness to learn and obtain required electrical certifications and licenses (training provided).
- Basic understanding of math and measurements is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments, including heights, attics, and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under supervision.
