Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and control equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
