Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breaker upgrades.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan project execution.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project timelines and costs effectively.
- Assist in mentoring junior apprentices and training new hires on proper techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Apprenticeship licenses accepted for entry-level roles).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
