Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn to diagnose pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture issues under supervision
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and fixture replacement tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Use hand/power tools effectively for cutting, threading, and assembling pipes
- Complete basic paperwork and service documentation
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No plumbing experience necessary – full training provided
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in San Jose area
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certification within 12 months
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
