Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and emergency repairs during off-peak hours
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Lead safety inspections and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless project handovers
- Operate specialized electrical tools and diagnostic equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Night shift or after-hours work history preferred
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
