Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Coordinate with project teams to meet strict deadlines
- Perform emergency repairs during off-hours with minimal supervision
- Train junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience required
- Valid Minnesota Electrician's License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
