Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts, power tools) with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and site safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and subcontractors
- Inspect materials for quality and report defects to supervisors
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and site cleanup
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and measurement equipment
- Background in structural concrete or masonry preferred
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and physical
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
