Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on high-voltage equipment
- Adhere to NEC codes and safety protocols during all operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and energy efficiency projects
- Complete detailed documentation and work order reports
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during night shift hours
- Mentor junior technicians on advanced electrical techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Florida Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Advanced proficiency in PLC programming and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical faults
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
