Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings during night shifts
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for complex projects
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on high-voltage systems
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during off-peak hours
- Mentor junior electricians on advanced techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician Journeyman License
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR training
- Expertise in industrial controls, VFD systems, and power distribution
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
