Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and critical system repairs during night operations
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Lead emergency response teams for power outages and electrical failures
- Train and mentor junior electricians on advanced techniques
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman license
- Proven expertise in high-voltage systems and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
