Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential/commercial electrical systems during overnight shifts
- Respond to emergency outages and troubleshoot complex electrical faults
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for system modifications
- Ensure strict adherence to NFPA 70E safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with utility providers for grid synchronization projects
- Document service reports using digital maintenance platforms
- Mentor junior technicians during shift rotations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (EL-0000111)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification required (30 preferred)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting 3-phase systems and VFDs
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure scenarios
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Experience with power grid monitoring systems (e.g., SCADA)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
